Available for a one dollar bill of sale are 5 quality thoroughbred horses who are currently undergoing a specialised farriery, nutritional and equine rehabilitation program. Example photos of Buddy and Tommy before and after 10 weeks of rehabilitation are in the photo gallery.
These beautiful horses have either been rescued from the slaughterhouse or have come to us for rehabilitation or rehoming. We are hoping we can find loving, caring homes for them within the next 1-2 weeks, as we are relocating to flood-safe land and need to reduce our numbers.
Being offered to the best of loving homes only are:
• RIKI - 2003 Bay Thoroughbred Mare by Zedative (AUS) / Pleasant Colony (USA) xx.
• BELLA - 2006 Black/Brown Thoroughbred Mare by Commands (AUS) xx / Octagonal (NZ) xx.
• SUNNY - 2006 Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding by Bagger Vance (2000) xx / New Regent (CAN) xx.
• MERLIN - 2010 Brown Thoroughbred Gelding by Sebring (AUS) xx / Bletchingly (AUS) xx.
• ROCKY - 2014 Bay Thoroughbred Gelding by Red Dazzler (AUS) xx / Spinning World (USA) xx.
Over the past 2 months, we have brought all of the horses up to date with their farrier program, feeding program, routine dentals, worming and 2in1 injections.
We believe that a huge number of horses (far more than the general public currently realises) are being sent to the slaughterhouse every week for human and/or pet food consumption, through no fault of their own.
We also believe many of these horses end up in this situation because of poor behaviour and/or lameness issues resulting from pain and injury associated with ineffective hoofcare, feeding and/or handling.
We want to join with people who want to make a difference in the world …
Therefore we have begun filming an international documentary to show how the correct application of soleshoes for support as well as feeding quality natural nutrition can help save horses’ lives.
Some of the horses we are offering for sale are featured in this documentary scheduled to be released in the UK/USA in 2020.
These lovely horses are currently in paddock condition and are all at different stages of rehabilitation. In the future, they may suitable as riding horses or breeding prospects.
If needed, we are happy to provide buyers with farriery, nutrition and training guidance to help give you and your new horse every chance of success.
We welcome all genuine enquiries from bona fide horse lovers. Please feel free to share this advert with your friends.
Lastly, if you'd like more detailed information about any of these very special horses, please send a message or give me a call today.
Thank you Sue Crocket Photography for helping with the photos.
What makes soleshoes so effective?
Soleshoes offer the horse pedal bone support and maximum frog pressure to the ground, as well as correct breakover - the way Nature intended. This equals better blood flow through the hoof and lower leg and thus maximum comfort and improved biomechanics for the domesticated horse. This improved point of breakover also helps horses to sleep properly when standing up due to the locking of their stay apparatus in their lower legs - and sleep is essential for life.
Soleshoes have been helping horses feel comfortable on their feet for hundreds of years. It was only the industrial revolution that stole the steel away from the shoe, causing horses' major discomfort.
SOLESHOES - SO SIMPLE, THEY'RE GENIUS.
