Lirrabin Bowman is a super moving thoroughbred who has competed regularly over the last 18 months and has received impressive scores and comments in the dressage arena. He is a 16hh, 8 rising 9, bay gelding with a good walk and canter and a super trot that scores 7 and 8's consistently in the dressage ring. At his last dresage competition in October 2019 he scored 71.6% and received 8's for most of his trot and some of his canter work. He has competed at 3 dressage days for 2 wins and a 2nd place. He is exceptionally quiet and is very reliable to take out and compete. Very sweet horse who is easy to s/f/c/w etc. He has an incredible work ethic and always gives 100%. Does his best work in the dressage arena at competitions and has taken a particular shine to this dicsipline in his short career so far. Always receives comments from judges on his beautiful cadenced trot and lovely suspension. Has been competed around EvA 65 and 80cm Eventing and has always showjumped clear. Has competed at multiple jump club days. He is a very careful jumper and is best suited to a dressage or showjumping home, or would be an ideal interschool mount for somebody seeking a competitive allrounder. He is schooling over 90cm to 1 metre at home. Has jumped around rounds of 90cm. Is schooling Novice/ Elementary on the flat with all lateral work established, simple changes started, collection work started, half pass and counter canter just commenced. He will be competing at FTP dressage day in August at Prelim and Novice level. Not entirely brave and comfortable out on cross country but would be happy to potter around the lower grades Eventing. I am an eventer wanting a high level event horse, hence why this beautiful boy is for sale. He is a much loved member of our family, is handled by my 6yo son and this is a hard sale. He will only be sold to a home that is suitable for him, which is a competent rider wanting to go out and be competitive in dressage, combined training or show jumping straight away. He is an incredibly good doer, especially for a thoroughbred and does not require much feed. Was originally bred for Polo not racing but did minimal polo work as he was too big a mover and grew too tall for the polo field. He has a very powerful trot, very good walk and the canter is developing all the time. Up to date on all vaccinations including Hendra and teeth have been done by a vet recently. Never had a single lame day or issue in the 18 months I have owned him. Front shoes only, has excellent hooves, farrier wishes all his horses hooves were as good as Beau's. $10,000.
