Archie is a stunning 10year old 16.2hh thoroughbred gelding. He raced as ‘Our Krypto’ and retired 100% sound as a 4yr old. Out of Maternal Girl and sired by Canny Lad- he qualifies for, and has competed in OTT hack classes and can be registered and complete in TSHA classes (Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association). I purchased Archie off the track as a 4year old and over the past 5 years have competing in dressage, showing, eventing and showjumping. He has attended clinics, ag shows, dressage days, ODEs and even put cattle away at a campdraft. He is good with stock, dogs, motorbikes and on bush tracks. He is good to ride in group or on his own. Archie has 3 eye catching paces and turns heads wherever he goes. He is an excellent ‘doer’, does not require special feeding or supplements to maintain his weight as he is quiet a heavy set for a thoroughbred, currently in show condition just maintained on good grass and occasional hay. He has received various champions in the dressage arena and show ring, currently competing Novice dressage and showjumping 80cm. He is pleasure to do anything with, excellent to clip, shoe and float. Archies only vice is that he will windsuck if stabled. Please note this is completely stopped with the use of an electric fence. This DOES NOT affect his weight or health in any way- I have had him paddocked on 20 acers for the past 3 years and have not seen him windsuck. Archie is for sale due to my work commitments and limited time. I originally advertised him at the beginning of the year before COVID-19 stopped regional travel, so now here we are again. Archie should be out competing, not living out his prime as a paddock ornament. Archie would suit a competitive teen or adult rider wanting to do a little bit of everything on a flashy mount.
