Smart Allrounder Racename: Alsoknownas Sire: Zabeel (NZ) DOB: 2010 Maka was a very well bred unsuccessful racehorse.

Sold for $400,000 at the 2013 Sydney Easter yearling sales. He is a quiet, willing and responsive gelding who has been in training with an amateur rider since retiring from racing. He has established flatwork with lovely correct paces and a very honest, athletic, bold jump. Snaffle mouth in all phases.

He is schooling up to 100cm showjumping with plenty of scope for higher and has been cross country schooling, jumping into water and up/down banks with no issues. He has competed up to 80cm in show jumping and whilst very honest does require a bold rider as he loves his job. He is a true performance horse. Good ground manners, the basics; catch, tie up, shoe, rug, float & truck etc. I would love to see this horse eventing or showjumping as I believe he would quickly progress up the levels with the right rider who has a bit more time then I can offer right now. Although he is nice enough on the flat for straight dressage and pretty enough for showing.

Genuine reason for sale, young family/lack of time. Maka is forward and light to the aids so will not suit a novice rider. Currently in training with Abey Performance Horses due to lack of time - located Myrniong. Price will increase as training does.
