7 YO 15hh leopard gene registered appaloosa gelding.
Elleon Peek Ah Boo, also known as Ghost. I am his second owner. Ghost is suitable for an intermediate rider due to his age.
He would make a great little all rounder for someone new. He loves trail riding and going over jumps. Out in the trails he loves to be around other horses and is happy being in front or behind. He is well mannered and is amazing around cars, trucks and motorbikes. I have mostly taken him on trails the last few years, we did do some show prep at the start of 2023 however I injured myself at work and was unable to show him.
He isn’t a spooky horse and is very honest. Has had a total of two months of further education in Bendigo with Emma Choo, at Senjhoo Park (2022), where we found he is not a fan of arena work and would prefer an adventure. He is definitely a horse that would thrive in XC SJ in an allrounder home.
Due to his genetics he is night blind and has dental issues requiring him to be seen by a vet dentist. our most recent visit was proven very successful and he is well and truely on the uphil with these issues. More than happy to give more details and vent dentist report upon request.
I am a nervous rider who has had a decent fall years ago and this horse has been a life saver in getting my confidence back up. I rode him for the first time in 8 months in September and it was like he had never had a spell. He is a great horse to pull out of the paddock and go. He would be suitable for a casual trail horse, or he has definitely got prospect to do well in comps or pony club.
This is a regretful sale, but with personal circumstances I am selling both of my horses. He can come with saddles (stock, AP and dressage for extra) rugs and other equipment.
Floats good alone and with company. Up to date with his teeth (last done 20/09/23), vaccinations, easy to float, currently in shoes and easy to catch.
Located in Sunbury. May be able to arrange a meeting in Bendigo. I will only sell him to a home that is suitable and will consider doing a trial to ensure he is suitable for his next home.
