Whiskey may have short legs, but he's almost as wide as he is tall - But at least you won't need to find a log to get on him :) He's very quiet and easy to handle - float, tie up, catch, trim, worm, rug, wash etc. No kick, bite, rear or buck. Good with kids. Goes barefoot or wears hoof boots on rocky trails. Knows his leg aids, side pass, yields etc. Nice groundwork. Is bold and loves getting out and about - done beach rides, is traffic safe, happy to ride out alone or in company, can easily lead other horses/ponies off him. He has a quirky character (loves playing with the hose and toys, can be bossy with other horses in the paddock) Would be great for a mum returning to riding after a break. May suit a novice or adult beginner under instruction. Not suited to dressage/hacking as he hates doing flat-work. Has done obstacles, sporting and jumping but can get a bit strong/hot. Being re-homed as not suited to my change of discipline, so wasting in the paddock.
