Cash. 13yo. 15.1 hh Clydesdale/quarter horse X. Bought as a trail horse for myself in retirement, but a bit to forward for my old body. Floats well ( angle load ) loads/unloads and travels calmly.
He has been in training at Equine Perceptions for 5 weeks.
The trainer states " he is a very sweet boy who thrives with a confident and compassionate rider/handler. He has got an energy that says he would be good for trail and/or possibly cross country. He has shown in his short time here with me, he has the willingness and ability to learn and adapt. He can get nervous in new situations and excessive arena work will probably not suit him. He has been doing a variety of work here including riding on the home track, arena work, road work and trail riding. After just a few days here, he settled in and showed more confidence in horses coming and going, riding around him etc and he has watched all the goings on here with interest. I have ridden Cash out solo several times on the home tracks and down the road. He can reef occasionally but it is more of a habit and i've had no trouble navigating him out on the road. Good with cars, dogs and other horses. "
