Monte is one of the sweetest souls to have graced our stables. An honest and kind natured boy, wrapped up in a truly eye catching package. He has the potential to go far in the dressage ring, and is currently training prelim level.

More woah than go type, can be lazy if you let him, though he has a lot of power in there once you tell him it’s time to work. Has great breaks, and is very respectful of your aids. Absolutely no nastiness in him, however, he is still young and green, so requires a rider who is sympathetic of a young horse and is willing to continue his education. Due to the owners health, he has not yet been exposed to competitions and has been brought on slowly.

Truly a heart breaking sale for the owners. Monte is the type of horse that wants to be your best friend. Whoever ends up with him will not be disappointed.

Monte has a scar on his hind end that does not affect him in any way (can be seen in pictures).
