PPP San Hai is a unique and eyecatching boy with an unmatched personality. He is by San Rubin 11 an attractive, dynamic son of Sandro Hit. Sandro Hit had been in the Top 3 of the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings since 2016 but in 2021, the year he passed away at the age of 28 he reached Number 1 spot on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking. Sandro Hit was by Sandro Song out of Loretta by Ramino, winner of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and son of the legendary show jumper and sire Ramiro and Dombuche, also a successful show jumper and dam of show jumpers. San Rubin 11’s dam Alice by Rubinstein, Aleppo xx provides the Thoroughbred liveliness and performance.

San Hai’s dam Dai Hong is a Stud Book Thoroughbred mare by the Internationally successful sire Falak, sire line of Diesis, Sharpen Up and from Tafrah by Sadler’s Wells, the 1984 European Champion Miler.

San Hai in third generation is all quality 3/8 Warmblood and 5/8 Thoroughbred, a pedigree to recommend success in dressage, show jumping or eventing. He has an impressive walk with a big overstride, can do a lovely extended trot and has a powerful and uphill canter. He has schooled flying changes, simple changes, leg yields, shoulder in and traver. He has had several dressage wins scoring up to 69%, including winning his first Novice 2B at Hawkesbury Dressage at SIEC and has competed up to Elementary 3A scoring over 60%. San Hai loves to jump and has a lot of scope. He has competed and won 1.15m including Sydney Jumping Association ( SJA ) at the Polo Fields. Has also done cross country with great potential, jumping 95 at training and 80 at SIEC and Camden hunter trials. Placed 4th at his first ODE at SIÈCLE in Eva89. He's easy to handle, loves hacking out alone and with company, easy to shoe, drench, float, and ties up quietly at the float by himself, or, when travel mates leave. Very loving horse who loves to cuddle and seems to make a bond with his rider. Ideal horse for an experienced rider to take him up through the grades to reach his full potential.
