Lewis has been in our family since 2009, and has brought my daughter from a very novice yet ambitious 11yo right through the pony club ranks, and EA ranks up to FEI 1star level in eventing. He is a quirky character, mostly very, very quiet, but has a devilish little streak where he sometimes likes to throw in a pigroot. This is about his only vice, in every other possible way he is the ultimate family member. My daughter has always loved his little antics, he is really quite a character. My daughter who is now 17, has clipped him every year by herself, always has and has loved him beyond words. It is a very tough decision to let him go to another family. We always thought he would be with us forever, but as he is showing us that his comfort zone does not extend to 1* level eventing, that it is time to move on to another horse. Although he has shown us that 1* level eventing is his limit, he is very comfortable show jumping up to 1.20m. He not only jumps around courses this size, but is always unbeatable on time, and is very very competitive. He always produces accurate, workmanlike dressage tests and takes about 15 minutes to warm up. He would suit a strong, competitive rider as can be lazy. He produces a whole new set of gears when he is in competition mode. Extremely easy to shoe, truck, float & clip. Has many, many wins to his name, too many to mention, but recently placed 3rd individually at PCAV State Horse Trials and won Moyhu & Barry Hiller PC Horse Trials this year, and placed 2nd at Mansfield. Also won all four Senior events at the Scots Interschools competition in Albury, including elementary dressage tests and 1.05m showjumping. We are negotiable on price as we are very keen to find the right family for this awesome little pocket rocket. Lewis has an incredible reputation in our part of the world, he and Lucy are very well known right throughout our zone, and recently featured on the front cover of the PCAV magazine. As he is not a big horse, he is best suited to a smaller teen, or adult, say no more than 5'4" and would be perfect for an ambitious 10 or 11 year old with reasonable balance and ability for their age.
