Hi my name is Allie, I’m a rising 8 year old 13.2 hh chestnut mare. My mum got me in 2017 when she was 10 and I was only 5, she's now 13 and I'm not young and green anymore. It took us 12 months to get our bond and now we trust each other with everything. I'm very spoilt. I love cantering, puddles, attention, being ridden bareback and treats. I get ridden around 4-5 times a week in either an english saddle or sometimes mum decides she wants to ride me in an easy rider as its the closest thing she has to western. I love being ridden on a loose rein with lots of pats and cuddles after doing my work for the day. I do not buck, kick, rear, bolt ect but if I’m cantering and mum taps me with the whip sometimes I do a half hearted pigroot to tell her I don't think I deserved that. I run straight up to my mum in the biggest of paddocks so she doesn't have to walk up to me to catch me. I'm an angel getting my hooves cleaned and tacked up. When people first meet me they're very confused when I start licking their hands thinking I'll bite but I do not bite. I just love licking things. I have taken very good care of my mum for these past three years and we've both taught each other a lot. The reason I'm looking for a new home is because my mum is quite tall and wants a bigger horse. You can stand up on me, slide off my bum, walk over obstacles and I don't care. The only thing I'm scared of is hoses, not water, just hoses. I'll let mum use the hose on the rest of my body but I find it scary when it goes near my face. Mum is still confused why? as I've never been beaten. I can be ridden by a beginner and have no problem with it but I need someone who can bring out the best in me so I'm more suited to an intermediate rider that has a little bit more confidence so I can continue doing what I love. I'm not a goey horse at all. I'm quite lazy but you can still get me to move with a bit of leg. I used to be quite a nervous horse so I've been ridden in a hidez hood for 12 months now and even though I'm not spooky mum still puts it on me as I find it comforting. I'm not nervous now and rarely spook at things. Mum has even started cracking the stock whip off me, I will stand still for it but am not fully comfortable with it as we've only just started.
