'Rain" is a sweet natured, honest, eye catching mare looking for her next best friend after being with her current owner for 8.5 years.
Moving into her twilight years she would suit a mature rider / owner looking for companionship to enjoy adult riding club, trail rides, natural horsemanship and potentially working equitation. Rain is a quick learner and is currently being trained by TRT method of natural horsemanship and enjoyed for all her other qualities.
Having had pony club, cross country and show jumping experience she would also be the perfect partner for a competent, kind and responsive junior rider to compete at low level jumping. Rain has excelled in the show jumping ring for many years but we think it is now time for her to slow down and be enjoyed for all her other qualities, with a rider who is sensitive and kind.
Rain is a fun, versatile allrounder and has 3 lovely paces. She is quick to learn and gives 100%. Rain is proficient in her yields and backups and is soft and supple on the circle. She is super agile and jumps beautifully on the lunge also and not fazed by flags and other obstacles.
Rain loves human interaction and will follow you around in the paddock. She can be ridden bareback, loves trails – either by herself or with other hoses and has no issues with cars, machinery, motorbikes etc. She is easy to catch, shoe, float and is ridden in a snaffle.
We are seeking a forever home for this much loved horse where she can be paddocked with other horses and treated with kindness. Loved by everyone that works with her Rain is a 1 in a million horse. A regretful sale due to owner’s university commitments and overseas travel.
She has recently returned from her summer spelling and is being bought back into work. Rain would suit experienced rider, no beginners. Videos and photos on request.
