We bought Comet 7 years ago when I was 12, I did pony club on him and won just about everything in all disciplines. He was reserve champion in the 13 under 15s at state equitation and won the B grade 13 under 15 at State showjumping in 2015. We won in A grade in 2016 and attended State camp for showjumping. We also won pony clubber of the year at Dural pony club in 2016 and won the club showjumping award two years in a row.

He’s jumped 115/120 and recently been consistently placing and winning in 110/115s. At the last two Waratah shows he has won the 110 class, he generally places in every class he goes in. He would be perfect for the Children’s Championships and would jump some of the smaller Junior classes as he’s very brave and tries his heart out for his rider. Comet is quite easy to ride, pretty much point and shoot, no quirks. He’s very careful and fast against the clock. I jump him in a snaffle, but he can be quite strong when jumping. He’ll jump anything in the showjumping ring and on cross country, not spooky at all.

Goes on floats/trucks no worries. Easy to shoe, has been swimming in dams and at the beach, happy to be ridden bareback and is very kind with beginners. Fine with other horses or living by himself. A very reluctant and sad sale, but as he isn’t going to jump 140 it’s time to move him on so another child can have an amazing time with him as I have. Best of homes only.
