Eva is a beautiful young mare with the world at her feet.
Eva is a wonderful example of the German Riding Pony/ Welsh cross. The German Riding type is described as a sports pony with correct, rhythmic, and elastic movement.The Welsh breeding brings versatility, hardiness and character.
Eva is out of Bamborough Andrea (Bamborough Royal Request x Ripplebrook Apricot) x Boston Boy (GRP). Both come from a long line of beautifully bred, versatile, quiet and well educated horses that have proven themselves under saddle. Bamborough Royal Request was a Multi Champion Royal and State Welsh Pony both led and under saddle.
Eva is sister and niece of a number of successful show winners, dressage ponies and allrounders.
Eva was started as a three year old and has had two stints of professional training since then, with spells in between. She is already proving herself to be trainable and well mannered under saddle. Eva was balanced and accepting of her rider. She is more whoa than go so does need a confident rider to sharpen her responses. Given Eva’s ago and education level, she does require lungeing after a spell.
Eva is well handled - easy for the farrier, to wash, self loads into the float, stands quietly when tied up or traveling. She is without vices but she did ‘jack up’ when (muscle sore and very overweight) on return from one session of professional training, she has not done this since.
Eva has no medical issues or injuries - she is unspoilt and ready to make your dreams come true.
Eva is bound to succeed in whatever discipline you choose and her rider is guaranteed to have a lot of fun at the same time!
Bred by current owner and sadly for sale due to her personal circumstances and being at an age where she no longer wishes to ride young horses. Breeder would consider a swap/ part payment for something more mature and advanced in education.
