Cheddar - 13hh, 10yo gelding, and Cider - 12.2hh, 9yo mare, are full siblings, and are quarab x welsh. My mother and I rescued these ponies in an emaciated and lice-ridden state, in winter. Neither pony had ever had their feet done. They've now had several trims and are in good shape. No history of laminitis, but their new home will need knowledge of laminitis prevention so they stay that way.
They had apparenty had some dental care, although were at the very least overdue, and Cider had a growth surgically removed from her gum when we had their teeth done. Both ponies have also been seen by our equine bodyworker and found to have no issues. These ponies are unbroken and unregistered, very friendly, and beautifully natured.
Now that all the expensive and difficult rescue work has been done, they are ready to be broken in and start their new lives. We had intended to send them off to be broken and trained up for rehoming, however my mum was in an accident and has broken her back in 4 places, plus 5 ribs and a scapula, so has suffered a huge income loss due to not being able to work. Therefore, we very unfortunately need to rehome these ponies much sooner than anticipated. They have only been floated twice in their lives, so will require a kind, patient person to work with their float loading.
$250 each or $400 for both.
