What has she done?

• Broken in by Birdwood Horse Works, including desensitisation such as flag bearing
• Miles of trail riding both alone and in company, not phased by other horses misbehaving, wildlife, creek beds etc
• Pony club rallies
• Dressage at Prelim level
• In-hand shows
• Obstacle courses
• Showjumping ~60cm
• Group and individual lessons, particularly recent intensive with Jamie Stitchel Eventing & Pre-Training
• Can pick up items while riding her eg noisy sensory items, used to carrying a whip
• Basic understanding of leg and laterals
• Long reins well enough to make cart pony

How is she to handle?

• Can climb all over her and around feet, sit on her lying down, above all a pet
• Self-loads on float, comes out slowly, stands at float all day, trustworthy
• Respectful and patient, loves children
• Good for farrier/pick up all four feet
• Catches without issue
• Can clip
• Reasonable on fencing, electric isn’t required or very effective

How is her temperament?

• Used to a busy farm environment with tractors, quad bike, excavator, bonfires, sheep, cows, gun shots etc not bothered
• Not reactive to wind and rain
• No vices
• No buck, bite, bolt, rear etc.
• Not marey
• No separation anxiety
• Has been the only horse on farm at times without issue
• Bonds with rider and looks for your company

Health issues?

• No vet attendance apart from routine, no colic/founder
• Microchipped
• Barefoot with renegades for trail
• Good teeth, done jan 25 w/report
• X-rays on file, full recent vet check
• Yearly vaccinations jan 25

Cons?

• Dressage comments can rush and unstable head, she doesn’t do this out on the trail when relaxed which is why suited to pleasure
• Start with her feet when you wash her

Ideal buyer?

• Someone looking for a best friend and pleasure horse over performance
• Looking for safe, fun, pet temperament and insta-worthy rather than perfect dressage/showies
• Intermediate rider or led/very supervised beginner
• Cattle work as not afraid to push them out of the way

Reason for sale?

• Tia helped me get confidence getting back into riding again after a baby, now looking for performance horse
• Not a forced sale and I need to feel extremely comfortable with proposed home so EOI and negotiable based on conditions of offer and home
