Toohey is the ultimate Interschool school master has been selected to compete on the QLD Interschool team for Nationals in 2022 and 2023.
Toohey’s preferred disciplines are dressage, showing, combined training and showjumping - competing 80-100 - jumping every type of fill in Australia. He competed in combined training at Nationals in Sydney 2022 coming 4th in Australia in the 80cm primary division. He also competed in eventing with his previous owners.
Toohey is just the most lovely ‘person’ and member of the family. He is extremely safe and consistent, rarely has a rail, is a point and shoot jumper and is equally as home in the show or dressage arena.
Toohey is easy to handle, catch, stable and shoe. He is used to muster sheep/ cows, unflappable with trucks, tractors, dogs and kids. He has travelled from Sydney to the Mackay and everywhere in between.
Toohey is the most wonderful confidence booster who comes back for beginner riders and is super competitive in his preferred disciplines. He is the ultimate pony to allow your child to have fun and be successful with zero stress!
Toohey has been owned by them for the last five years taking his rider from 7 years old to age 13. She has very sadly outgrown him.
