Bird has 3 correct paces and shows ability to collect. She disproves the myth of a "pony walk" showing a free, swinging walk with overtrack. Bird is training novice/elementary including some baby halfpass and isn't phased by the introduction of new movements during training. She has done trot poles and cavaletti, both on the ground and ridden and enjoys the variety in the training.
Due to owner's time constraints she hasn't competed extensively but has scored in the 60's when she has competed with her amatuer owner rider at Prelim and Novice. Bird has attended some clinics and training days and settles into the new environment quickly.
Bird is a talented and intelligent pony and with the right rider is capable of going up the grades. With her sire being Black Charming and Richmeed Medallion on the dam side, she has fantastic genetics.
She is in full work and available to view in the NSW Hunter Valley.
