I'm sad but proud to offer beautiful, elegant, sweet-natured, very showy Milly, aka Little Miss Glamorous, 13.2hh black Australian Riding Pony mare (reg A37556/22), 6yrs, bred by successful show breeder Louise McNeish, Bundaberg, from impeccable UK bloodlines, by the magnificent Victoria Tower Wishlist out of Little Paddocks Symphony (pls refer show pix). She’s taken right after her dad!

I bought her just over a year ago to be my perfect soulmate in retirement, and she has done me so much emotional good. She slipped easily into the attachment of her first 1:1 relationship and talks vocally to me all the time, nickering when close & a big greeting neigh from afar. This is such a hard sale for me, but not to would be very selfish because I can no longer ride her at more than a walk without unseating due to inner ear imbalance/vertigo. She has had to be very patient with me. At age 66.5yrs and facing cold hard facts, I'm simply just too old to keep up with her. If only Dad had found her for me when I was 13!

Milly is best suited to a confident & seasoned lightweight teen or adult as a sports horse, or in any discipline, or even just for pleasure, she's an engaged bouncy ride. I'm 65kgs, she's 310kgs.

Milly is a quality mare, so breeding later is also an option, but she has had foundation dressage training & 4 outings in 2023 with her trainer competing in Preliminary Dressage, scoring between 64-67%. She was last working on lateral movements & walk to canter when offered for sale. She can also sprint sideways around the well & stop proudly on a dime in front of me, so definitely include sports on her suitability list, she'd love it! She also clears a 3m wide burnpile at will so enjoys a jump. With the right rider she could turn out to be a marvellous little eventer. She’s brave & she's fast.

Milly is also very affectionate & will doze off under a long ear rub, especially if you hum to her. She's not for beginners though, she still needs an experienced rider to reassure her as she’s still a little green, she was broken in at 4yrs & lightly worked since. She lacks experience that comes with exposure, but she's always interested & willing. She is always a good girl under saddle but can be forward.

Milly is so smart just showing her things three times usually does it I've found. She learns both good and bad things very quickly, but is also easily corrected. She responds really well to voice.

Milly is good for farrier (strong barefoot hooves) & with floating. Not scared of tarps or umbrellas, tight spaces, loud music, drums, low-flying helicopters or bonfires. She loves to visit the house patio & can safely navigate around furniture & through narrow pathways, she's at home in a human environment.
