This is a rare opportunity to own a mature Andalusian that is currently in work. This stunning horse is Majestic Caminante, PRE and AHAA registered, by Picaro PM (imp) out of Andaluka Vaqueta.
Cam is a quality horse and true to type. This sweet, handsome horse is a head turner with fantastic movement that has been described as ‘spectacular!’. He is very comfortable to ride with great potential to be developed into a competitive dressage and show horse.
Following an early show career where he won 2016 Junior State Champion Entire, 2017 State Champion Andalusian Stallion and 2017 Supreme Champion Led Exhibit, he spent some years as a much loved family horse where he did numerous activities with various members of the family. His current (non-competitive) owner has retired from riding and is looking for a new loving home for Cam with a person keen to develop a special bond with this special horse.
In the past 6 months Caminante has attended working equitation and HRCAV rallies and has been in training with a qualified riding coach and professional trainer. He is a pleasure to take on outings and is well mannered around other horses when out. He is easy to float and good for the farrier. If you need a laugh just hang out with Cam for a while. He is a character with lots of personality and loves people. He will welcome you at the gate, ready to go.
He has been exposed to goats, cattle, kangaroos, deer, cats and dogs.
While on the whole Caminante has a lovely calm temperament, he can occasionally be reactive and is currently learning to have greater trust in his rider at these times. For this reason he is only suitable for an experienced, confident rider.
Whilst Cam's price is reflective of his quality and breeding, a caring home with the right person is the highest priority for this horse. Reasonable offers will be considered.
