Arlie is a big friendly giant,
he has such a loving beautiful nature. We purchased him for our daughter who rides most days, she's into show jumping and he has all the experience and training. We got him from the Gold Coast over covid when the boarder was closed and could not pick him up ourselves he was vet approved but when he arrived he had a few cuts on his leg and we figured he had a fall in the truck. Ever since he hasn't been able to be ridden past a trot, we had our vet check him and he said he needs at least 6 months rehab for our daughter to be able to be jumping at the level she is. we have had him for approx 4 months and our daughter has ridden him but he is not up for competitions and he doesn't seam ready or maybe he will never be able to jump again.
We love him but she needs a horse she can compete on that's in better shape then Arlie. He would be a great companion horse or for someone who has the energy to rehabilitate him back from this injury and just be content with trail walks etc. Our daughters trainer keeps saying he will come good and be perfect for her, but she's a teenager and doesn't have the patience to put into him that he needs, she also has another horse that she uses for show jumping.
We just want to find a great home for him, his such a sweetheart with so much personality.
He loves food so you can do a lot with him via food training. He gallops around the paddock with excitement when he sees my daughter. He is a breeze to float, catch, bridle etc.. He loves kids! Is not shy or scared of noise or roads.
His a big horse with a big heart.
