JB Commander is an impressive horse, standing at a genuine 18.1hh. This gentle giant has eye catching movement and a beautiful, sweet, cuddly temperament.
- Commander is extremely versatile, having won ribbons in Hunter Hack & Ladies Hunter
- Sired by the breeder of champions - Carbine, out of a mare by Inspiration (IMP)
- 3 rythmic paces and with established laterals, currently training flying changes & canter zig zags
- Currently training in a double bridle in preparation to compete Medium in Dressage in 2022
- Has cleared 1.10m in Show jump training sessions
- Cleared 1.15m in Cross Country training. Goes in & out of water no problems. Can be sticky on ditches.
- Cleared 1.30m free jumping.
- Under the right rider he has the scope to continue or advance but is not being sold as a competitive show jumper.
As a competition horse, he can be very sensitive and can get overwhelmed in busy environments like crowded warm up rings. He ideally needs a non-anxious rider in this type of environment as he looks to you for confidence and he needs you to remind him to stay focused. He knows his job - he just needs reminders sometimes to "stay on target".
However this is NOT an issue for XC, where he is a "point and shoot" type horse.

Commander has been the primary schoolmaster used by Ingram Park Equestrian, giving lessons to riders ranging from complete beginners right through to advanced riders looking for something more challenging. Would suit schoolmaster / riding school environment.
He has also been outstanding in Equine Assisted Learning sessions, and has consistently proven to be a client favourite.
Commander is being sold currently stabled and in light work, ready to go to his new home.He comes with;
2x cotton combo rugs,
1x winter rated paddock rug,
2x bridles (Double bridle without bits, & his XC bridle including Bomber Blue bit).
