Mannie aka Isle of Le Mans is a 16.2 hand 12yo WB Gelding (rising 13) DOB 30-12-10 By Isle of Aspen out of Isle of Lytany.

Mannie is an exceptionally well-schooled horse. He is working at a competitive elementary level with super clean changes and the medium work all started ready to go on with. Serious potential beyond this for FEl dressage. Beyond Mannie's very impressive talent and education as a dressage star, he is also a very established, capable show jumper having jumped successfully up to 130cm with a previous owner. There's no denying Mannie is a serious head-turner. He is an absolutely striking type on the ground and under saddle. He is very hardy and has the most beautiful, wow-factor elegant front and outline! He also has 3 extraordinary paces, and one of the most marvellous canters | have ever sat on!

On the flat, Mannie is very good in the rhythm, he is probably a little more woah than go naturally, but is happy to crack on when asked. He is very supple and even both ways, excellent over the back and through the ribcage and works beautifully into the hand. He has loads of impulsion, is very straight in his lateral work, and shows a serious talent for collection and changes.

Mannie has very good ground manners and has had experiences in lots of different environments from private agistment to a busy riding school to shows to here with us. We have found him to be very easy to have around and do everything with.

Mannie was sent to us for sales prep a couple of years ago and found a wonderful loving home with one of our clients. He has continued his education since then in a very knowledgeable horsey home, and is only for sale due to big changes in lifestyle that means he wouldn't be getting the time he deserves. Very genuine reasons for sale due to no fault of Mannie.

Although Mannie is a big boy and superbly well schooled, he can do the odd spook/shy so isn't suitable for beginners or nervous riders. He would be best suited to an ambitious dressage rider or jumper, or both looking for a seriously talented, versatile and competitive mount in their chosen discipline. This horse should not be overlooked by anyone. He is very, very special and has so much to offer.
