Pythia (Lola) 

Motivated sale. Sadly I won't have a rider for her after I leave in late march! Horses like this don't come around often. 

Currently competing in the YR series successfully. She has wins and placing under the belt up to to 1.40 level. Her results speak for themselves including 2nd weekend before last 07/01/24 in the 1.30-1.40 super series GP at Woodhill.

16.1hh, 12 year old (13 in march) Holstiner mare by Lindberg Des Hayette out of Corlando, bred by LC Farms.

Lola is a needle in a haystack mare. She’s got very low mileage, always having 6 months off a year not being jumped in the age series classes and shows have been picked carefully taking surfacing into consideration.

It’s almost impossible to make this horse stop. She is the ultimate confidence builder and jumps from literally anywhere. She has a GP jump in the hands of the right rider. She extremely clean and tries her hardest not to take rails and learns quickly when she does. She has brilliant flatwork, super adjustable, half passes, leg yeilds is all established. She is perfect to do everything with on the ground, isn’t clingy or needy and travels perfectly.

Completely bombproof, I put my mum on her to hack around and she loves it. She’s a very rare combination of being switched on and highly competitive in the ring while being gentle and loving on the ground (loves a head scratch). You will NEVER have to worry about time faults on this horse, she covers ground incredibly.

This is a heart wrenching decision and many tears have been shed even writing this add. (She has only had 2 owners and for good reason).

She is only offered for sale as I have been offered a riding position where I can not bring a horse in the UK.

She will only be for sale to the right home. If she does not sell I’ll just come back and enjoy her for another season. I will not be fussed if she doesn't sell we are just looking to see if there is the perfect situation for her.

She is entered into hoy, so ideally I'd like to keep her until then, but she is very available to be trialed and will be at Takapoto jumping next weekend. (We are based in Auckland very close to the airport and I'm happy to pick up and drop off potential buyers) 

We have x-rays to check balance of feet etc as a precaution at the start of each season (no particular reason why, we just feel we owe it to our horses to have them feeling their best, the x rays have always been clear and perfect. A full 5 stage vetting was done 2 years ago and was squeaky clean. Lola's results speak for themselves, due to me coming back from traveling late in the season she's had a half season but she is known as a winner and for her speed here in nz.
