Remi Chevrolet is a 2yo (DOB: 24/11/21) brown Hanoverian (HHSA registeration) gelding by CHECK IN out of Elite Mare Remi First Love. Will mature approx. 16.3-17.1hh. Unbroken. Will be broken in the next few months. If sold could be arranged to be broken before leaving. Bred by myself in conjuction with Remi Stud, Qld. 

Chevy is a stunning gelding with excellent conformation a very balanced canter and ground covering supple trot. Chevy also has an impeccable temperament and has been very easy to do anything with. He is easy to trim, float, lunge and will tie up all day very happily. He would suit a range of buyers seeking a quiet young horse with excellent quality and breeding for high level jumping, dressage or eventing.

SIRE:

His sire CHECK IN (Cordalme/ Lord Pezi) has produced multiple world cup showjumpers and high-level eventers both in Australia and Europe and himself competed at many 5**** classes, World Cup’s, and the World Equestrian Games. Chevy is very similar in build and paces to Check In.

DAM:

The dam of Chevy is Remi First Love who is by Fisherman’s Friend, out of Remi Love Story (Lanthan)). This mare has competed successfully to 2** level eventing and 130cm showjumping. She has been awarded Elite Mare status by the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia and was awarded HHSA 6yo Rising Star Horse of the Year in 2019. In 2018 Remi First Love was also also the Preliminary Australian Eventing Champion. Remi First Love has impeccable breeding. Her sire Fisherman’s Friend competed at Grand Prix dressage and has sired many high-level eventers and dressage horses. Her Dam is Remi Love Story. Remi First Love also has bred a 3yo filly by Casallco that is also showing huge talent for the future.

GRAND DAM:

REMI LOVE STORY is the dam of Remi First Love. Remi Love Story is a full sister to UNDER DISCUSSION who was the 4**** Aachen winner with Chris Burton. She is also the dam of the exciting young stallion REMI VIGNERON (Viscount). Vigneron is currently a very successful dressage stallion in Queensland and is producing wonderful progeny. He also received high marks for free jumping at his stallion licensing.

Only selling due time commitments. He will be an excellent buy for someone as he has always been a favourite horse of mine due to his quality and temperament. Chevy is a known windsucker but this hasn’t affected him and is easily controlled with electric tape. He also has a small superficial scar on his hind cannon that is cosmetic only. He is up to date for dentistry and vaccinations.
