Charlie is a 2011, 16.2hh grey warmblood mare (Charlemagne Ego Z x Stirling Liberty). She was lightly campaigned as a young mare with some of her previous owners.  She is a lovely kind mare who is easy to handle and is a very easy keeper.  Charlie is an easy breeder to frozen/chilled, foals down no problems and is a great mum.  Her 2023 foal has been weaned and she is currently empty. 

Charlie's sire, Charlemagne Ego Z (Calvaro Z x Calvin Z) needs little introduction, having competed in World Cups and is a Grand Prix Winner with David Finch.  His sire Calvaro Z competed at the Olympics, World and European Championships, also a winner at World Cup and Grand Prix events.  The dam of Carlemagne Ego Z is by Calvin Z (full brother in blood to Cantus who is proving to be a temendous broodmare sire).

Charlies dam was bred by Gavin Chester and competed to 1.30m with Rebecca Crack. She is by Gavin Chester's Australian high jump record holder Stirling Liberty (Ludendorf (imp,dec) x Falkland), from a thoroughbred mare.

Charlie is the dam of 5 foals (her 2023 Cera Quantro foal is pictured), the oldest of which (by Corelli) has recently started his competition career.  He is showing a powerful jump, is very trainable and has excellent rideability. 

We purchased Charlie in foal last season and had planned to keep her to breed with however she has developed Queensland itch (only since moving to Qld from NSW last season) so is for sale to a home where this won't be a problem. She did not have this in her previous home. 

Liver chestnut colt foal by Cera Quantro (DOB 5/12/23) will be advertised separately. He's a lovely type, is very friendly and is bred to jump! Lots of bling, estimate he will mature to about 16.2hh ish. Only for sale as he is a colt, otherwise we would keep him.
