Gatsby is a talented 12 year old, 16.hh Warmblood x TB gelding, his sire being Casanova. Gatsby has been with his current owner for the past 3 years. He is only being sold due to rider leaving school and not having enough time to take care of him. 

Gatsby has competed in the VEIS showjumping competitions from 2022-2024. He competed consistently at the 1m and 1.10m level and in 2023 participated in the VEIS State Championships. Gatsby has consistently trained at home at 1.10-1.20, but has the capability to go much higher. Unfortunately in 2024, due to rider injury and commitment to year 12 studies, he has not competed often this year, yet has been in regular training.

Gatsby has competed in dressage days at the prelim and novice level. However, Gatsby is training at the elementary level, but has not competed largely in dressage due to rider preference. 

Gatsby has done cross country and eventing with previous owners, competing up to 1*.

Overall, Gatsby is an amazing horse, eager to please and confident. He is easy to float, to have his feet done and catch in the paddock and he travels easily, he has no vices. He is kind, loving and tries hard for his rider, he  would suit a confident rider looking to progress in their riding, as he has the capability to take a rider up the levels. He is quiet, educated and does not care about other horses in a warm up ring and will be able to perform at high levels. 
Gatsby has been ridden mainly as a showjumper for the past three years, but has previous experience in all eventing disciplines, making him suitable for a whatever his new owner wishes. 

Gatsby is truly a once in a lifetime horse and will only be sold to the very best of homes.
