Meet Souther Field – 11-year-old, 16.2hh striking black Warmblood gelding (Holsteiner x) by Sangster, sired out of a Corland VDL . Imported from New Zealand in 2022, Souther Field, aka Cody, quickly made a name for himself as a very talented show jumper. With experience  in the 130-135cm classes and star success as a juniors horse.  Cody is beautifully trained and currently competing in Australia in the 1.15m classes, with regular training at 1.25m at home. Cody would be a mothers dream horse for their child. 

This great -natured gelding is uncomplicated to ride and has a beautifully soft mouth, always working in a snaffle. His education is solid across the board—while his primary focus is excelling as a show jumper , Cody is also handy on the flat and  excellent  in dressage up to Novice level, he does flying changes, half passes, tempi changes and pirouettes making him a versatile partner for any rider. His patient demeanor and willingness to support his rider make him an ideal choice for a junior, amateur, or children’s rider, especially a rider looking to build confidence in the ring.

Cody has an impressive record, including:

• 2nd place – Tauranga Young Riders Class
• 4th place – Hawkes Bay Young Riders Class
• 3rd place – Hawkes Bay 130-135m class
• 2nd place – Wallinga Park 1.05m
• 7th place – Wallinga Park 1.10m
