Louise is an 11 -year-old, 17hh Warmblood mare with a gentle and friendly nature. She is equally at ease with both people and other horses, making her a pleasure to work with. Since Louise has been with us from 2021, we’ve focused on developing her flatwork and jumping skills. She’s confident and smooth through all transitions, and is trained at an elementary dressage level. Her trot is balanced and relaxed, and her powerful, bouncy Warmblood canter gives her an effortless jump.

In 2021, when she was in consistent work, Louise would comfortably fly around 105-meter courses. After recently returning to jumping, she has been calm and reliable over smaller fences. Louise would be an excellent match for an intermediate rider looking to further their training in both Dressage and show jumping. Confident novice riders who are comfortable with all transitions and small jumping may also enjoy her. While Louise can occasionally spook if something catches her off guard, she quickly regains focus and works forward with a relaxed and willing attitude.

Louise's past owners competed her in multiple eventing competitions at 60cms, and have noted she was well behaved and a pleasure to take out. Although she hasn't been out in recent years, Louise thrives on routine and will adjust easily to a new lifestyle through repetition. Her versatility, combined with her solid foundation of training, makes her a great candidate for a variety of disciplines, while she would also happily enjoy a leisurely trail ride or a relaxed canter in the paddock. We’re excited to find Louise a new home where she can build a strong bond with her rider and continue to grow together.
