Carool Invictus, also known as Ginger Joe or Joseph, is hands down the kindest horse you will ever meet. Joe is the first of two embryo transfer foals out of my heart horse Waika 76, also known as Glory who I competed at Small Tour level internationally across Europe and Medium Tour nationally in Germany before bringing her to Australia. Sire Ibiza is well sought after and renowned as a top dressage sire producing many Grand Prix horses and licensed stallions.

Joe’s surrogate mother was a purebred Percheron and there is no denying he has taken on some of typical heavy horse traits, which makes him incredibly safe and steady to both handle and ride.

Started under saddle at 3yo with no issues, after only a few weeks under saddle I presented Joe at the ACE Stallion Licensing where he achieved Premium Status, with confirmation and movement scores all over 8s.

Joe was collected and frozen late last year and so the decision was made to geld him and focus on his training and potential sale.

Joe has been to a handful of lessons and protocol days and was a well behaved typical young stallion.

With the focus having been on breeding and my limited resources, Joe has not yet been competed, but he is very much on track with his training for his age. Currently training all the 5yo work including leg yields, simple changes and counter canter.

Joe has settled into his gelding life very quickly and is extremely straightforward and relaxed about life.

With a few more miles, Joe would also make a sensational para horse with his level head and highly comfortable paces, most notably his outstanding, ground covering walk.

Although I sell horses professionally, this a is a heartbreaking sale of an incredibly special horse. Joe will only be sold to the perfect home and will be further trained and competed until that home is found.
