Ignite or ‘Jojo Jnr’ is the highly anticipated first foal for both Carool Invictus and Riveroak Vogue and has certainly not disappointed our expectations.

Riveroak Vogue is an imported mare by Vivaldi out of a Sandro Hit mare and competed successfully up to Prix St George level with Elliot Patterson. Vogue is a modern day powerhouse with a fierce attitude and athleticism combined with a highly sensitive and intelligent character. She was exactly the type of mare we were looking to breed our young stallion Carool Invictus who offers excellent confirmation, strong bone structure and an incredibly soft, kind and steady character.

At the recent ACE assessment Jojo Jnr was awarded Premium status with comments from the German assessor Jens Wehrmann such as ‘the walk is incredible’ and ‘this foal has something special about him’. Scoresheet is available, all marks over 8 and ending up on 82.9%.

Jojo Jnr is proving to be the most easy going foal anyone has ever seen. I can easily load Vogue and Jnr onto the float alone with no dramas at all. Everything I do with Vogue I can do with JoJo Jnr including shampoo baths, sprays and trimming feet. JoJo Jnr is familiar with a halter but not yet trained to it.

I was hoping for a foal for myself that would have a bit more of Vogue’s spice, but since that doesn’t seem to be the case I am open to finding JoJo Jnr a home where he will be appreciated for the sweetheart he is.
