Schatt has ability to boot in the dressage arena and show jumping. He has mastered basic aids and has not refused a jump to date. Schatt requires someone who is patient as he is sensitive around the ears and needs consistent handling. I am selling as I have returned to full time work and with 2 young children it has become overwhelming and Schatt although stays consistent under saddle needs constant reassurance being handled as he can get nervous around the head. We have received very positive feedback with Schatts movement and jumping ability and given more work I believe he would be very competitive in the ring both jumping and dressage unfortunately I just don't have the time. He is great out on trails but not a leader he taken confidence from other horses but with a little more exposure I don't see this as something that can't be rectified. Currently in light work, barefoot. Worming teeth and feet up to date. Good to s/f/w etc easy to catch with regular handling. Will only sell to a confident and patient horsey home. Happy to explain in further detail over the phone.
