This eye-catching mare, known as ‘Willow’, has been a dream to break in and school for sale. She has three beautiful paces and a personality to match. A straightforward ride, she is easily kept forward yet only rides as forward as asked, making her an extremely adaptable ride for all levels of rider. She rarely spooks, loves to learn and has embraced dressage training with an unusual willingness. Her sire is the champion Grand Prix horse Byalee Wow Wie rw, who with Dimity Lourey is steadily developing strength under saddle and climbing up the ranks to achieve 65%+ scores. Wow has already sired talented youngsters, his oldest schooling in piaffe and tempi changes and winning on 70+% at elementary and others placing at NSW State Championships on 70+%. Wow is by legendary Wie Weltmeyer, long-listed Olympic team horse for UK, in turn by Weltmeyer. Willow’s dam is by Salute stallion Shylock, renowned for an amazing temperament and outstanding jump. Shylock sired top young horses like Jem Valentino, 4th overall at DWTS 2004, while Salute is of course the sire of more Grand Prix horses and 5* eventers than we can list, Olympic horse Stirling Stilton (Heath Ryan) and World Cup representative Victory Salute (Brett Parbery) among them. The bottom line features the legendary Brilliant Invader line, responsible for so much Australian eventing success. Willow is bred to excel in every discipline – the choice is yours!
