Beautifully talented prospect with capabilities for any of the Olympic disciplines. I strongly believe that this horse has all the makings to be an FEI horse.

Cohan is an up and coming warmblood, green-broken and ready for that next chapter of up-skilling. He is a perfectly established ‘blank canvas’ ready for an experienced rider to take him to that next level, no matter where that may be. Cohan would excel at eventing, show jumping or dressage.

Cohan’s sire is Statofrd Neo - a National 4* eventing champion who qualified to represent Australia at the Olympics. At just six years of age, Statford Neo took out the prestigious Adelaide International 2*, just like his Sire before him. Statford Neo was the ACE Eventing Horse Of The Year on 3 occasions.

Statford Novalis (sire of Statford Neo) is by successful world cup show jumper ARD Black Cat and out of Nobility, who was imported from Germany. Nobility’s dam won the Bundeschampionat (National young horse dressage championship) as a 5 year old and is a full sister to the famous show jumper ‘Aramis’ world cup winner and Olympic silver medallist.

Cohan truely is a sweet, gentle and kind natured horse. His character is one of his most desirable traits. Just like his sire, he has the wonderful Statford Novalis temperament and personality.

Cohan has a very easy going and quiet disposition. He is a quick learner and super easy to train. Getting him to where he is today has been a pleasant and enjoyable experience for me as his trainer.

Cohan has three paces which show promise to become big, straight and elastic movements. For a warmblood he is exceptionally smart so will need an experienced rider. His potential was one of the main reasons I originally bought him, I knew he had the potential to go as far as I could take him as a rider.

Most notably, Cohan has no vices. He doesn’t kick, buck, rear or bite and is certainly not malicious in any way.

In addition to his bold nature, Cohan has an outstanding presence. Extremely eye catching appearance with his white blaze and four white socks. While Cohan is approximately 16.1hh now, he is certainly still growing and I expect him to reach at least 17hh. His sire is 17.2hh and his dam is 16.3hh.

Reason for sale:

Cohan is for sale due to no fault of his own.

He is my dream horse and it devastates me that I have to let him go. After 18 months of personal chronic illness, I have come to terms with the fact that I won’t be able to do with Cohan what I had originally planned. He cannot sit in the paddock and waste anymore (as much as it breaks my heart).

Cohan is perfect to catch, float, trim (with the farrier). He has no issues with the stables and stands patiently as I groom and tack him. Fine with sprays and scissors and being rugged. All of his ground manners have been consolidated.
