Melrose is an 11 year old Warmblood mare sired by Matisse (Havidoff/Notabel) out of Elusive Dunvegan (Duntroon/Du).
She has lots of bling and personality and is one of the favourites at the stables.

Melrose has been brought on slowly and correctly.
With Dressage being her main focus, Melrose is confidently training Elementary/Medium level with lots of potential to excel at the higher levels. She would also make a stunning show horse with her compact size, natural frame and excellent hind leg.

Melrose is a sensitive mare and an experienced and confident rider would bring out the best in her.
In saying that, her current owner is an intermediate rider and has had a huge amount of success and enjoyment with Melrose.

Due to Covid, Melrose has not yet been to a show or competition but she has been to a few clinics and many rides off the property and coped really well.

Melrose has had a huge amount of professional training this year and is now again in training with a professional Dressage rider as I am unable to keep her in work due to family commitments. Every rider that has worked with her has expressed how beautiful she is; her movement, looks and kind nature.

This is a very sad sale and Melrose will only go to the best of homes. Genuine enquiries only please, with experienced homes. While Melrose is very sweet and gentle, she is not for amateur/young owners.
