Troy, as he is affectionately known most days, is schooling elementary dressage (almost ready to compete at this level, and has competed prelim and novice with good percentage in the high 60s to mid 70%s, he has been in the top places in big competitive fields), competed show jumping up to 1m and competed horse trials 65-80cm. Easy as anything to take out, will stand tied to a float all day and doesn’t need company. Incredibly, incredibly, incredibly (repeat is intentional) good looking pony, with loads of bling, and absolutely bomb proof.

Rcently won Grade 2 (Novice equiv) champion at Zone Dressage Chammpionships and will compete at State Championships.

Now whilst Troy sounds like that one in a million you swipe right for on Tinder, he is quite the catfish.

In these moments, he is known as SuperBrat, and SuperBrat can pig root better than a big girl trying to get into those size 8 jeans she should’ve thrown 5 years ago and requires a balanced rider to sit it out. He isn’t going to hurt you, but if you can’t ride you’re going to muddy up those white joddies, and that's a promise you can take to the laundry. He’s no idea whether he’s Arthur or Martha, he pig roots to relieve rider pressure but is lovely and forward at the same time.  This has started to be less and less often as his halo is staying in place.  He has been vetted and passed this in October 2021.

Troy was a green broken fellow who had not been ridden off property when my then 11 year old daughter took him on and has been exclusively ridden by her. Whether or not I am a terrible mother or she is a brilliant rider I will leave in your capable hands to decide.

What is without question is that my daughter adores him but wants to pursue her eventing dreams and he is more suited to showing, high level dressage and lower level jumping. He won’t be sold to just anyone and that’s not to save a potential riders washing basket, you cannot help but love him and we do, he's a brilliant talented Sonofabitch!

He isn’t a kids pony, unless of course your spawn is the product of A P McCoy and Charlotte Dujardin. He would ultimately suit a competent teen or small (ish) adult to go on with. He would make a lovely step up for an older experienced teen coming off a pony or for a lady leaving her shitty relationship. From one disappointing bloke and straight onto the next. But you can comfort yourself that at least your friends will be saying you’re with the best looking ride in the bar!

If you can ride (properly) and want a special, very handsome but quirky pony to take you places, please get in touch and we can chat further.
