Hillswood Missy Higgins

16yr (just turned) old stunning registered Welsh D mare 14.1hh (unmeasured)

Missy is a flashy, very chunky pure black pony.  Has a very fancy trot and canter- often mistaken for a fresian. Absolutely no soundness issues, very hardy, sturdy and stoic.  

Loves trail riding – she is forward and prefers being in the lead but will plod along behind as well -  would also make a lovely low level dressage pony. Missy is not a keen show jumper but will pop over a log on the trail, will walk over bridges, through water and over stepovers. Nothing phases her on a trail.  She has fantastic hard feet, only shod in front due to trail riding on very rocky trails, but can definitely be barefoot.

Missy has perfect ground manners.   Perfect to load, tack, wash and for farrier.  Will tie up all day at float or fence. No wind suck or bad habits. Absolutley no buck or rear.  Perfect on roads, with trucks, cars, bikes and dogs.  I also own Missy’s daughter, Hillswood Gypsie Rose, so would also make a lovely broodmare.
