1995 Isuzu 5 automatic horse truck for serious horse people - none of that living quarters nonsense!
392,150 km. NSW rego to 15th October 2022.
Takes 5 thoroughbreds on an angle load with the front bay an extra half size for extra big horses.
Requires MR license but doesn't need log books. Driven by a 5'6'' lady and can belt along the highway.
Super reliable, just starts every time.
Always looked after and serviced when due (or before), this truck has new engine hoses, good tyres, near new horse non-slip matting inside, extra ventilation, horse area camera and rear camera. It has bluetooth as well but is a bit hard to hear, air conditioning, a great heater and a wireless!
Driving lights, 6 cylinder diesel, Tare weight 5820kg, GVM 9500kg.
Wheelbase 4.2m, exterior length 7.9m, height 3.8m, width 2.3m
Inside horse area - length 4.8m, width 2.3m, height 2.25m
Bay - width .69m, length 2.45m - add a half for the front bay.
It has been a great truck for us, but we have downsized to a float as only carting 1-2 horses around now and dicky hips and knees make getting in and out of the truck a challenge!
