90% Reg Partbred Arab mare “Aliyah Aafire” with bling and splashes. 14hh, 7yrs. Was told her sire is the highest colored P/bred Arabian in Aus, “Stacey-Le Amir's Shadow.” Broken in at 5yrs. I’ve done about four months of trail ride/endurance training on her last year, but haven’t ridden this year.
Doesn’t hesitate cutting her own trail through thick grass and rocky ground, with other horses or alone, loose rein, or collected.
When I first got her she tried to be bossy over food, and a few small bucks, after a bit of work she didn’t do either again, but unsure if she’ll test a new rider, so to an experienced home.
Puppy dog on the ground, loves hugs and will be the first to come visit when in the paddock, everyone who meets her falls in love.
Stands quietly for everything, wash, tack, farrier. Loads straight onto the float, comes off calmly. Great with small dogs and cats. Can throw pool noodles at her, tarps, crack a whip, is paddocked next to a busy main road with lots of trucks and sports cars taking off at the lights.
Quick learner, doesn’t eat at feed time until you give the okay, very easy keeper.
She has a slightly crooked lower jaw, which doesn’t change her eating ability at all, gets the dentist out once a year to keep it level.
Bring her back into work, or could make a lovely brood mare.
