The Morgan horse is compact and refined in build, with strong limbs, a well arched neck, an expressive face and a clean cut head. Morgans come in a variety of colors although they are most commonly bay, black, and chestnut.  The breed standard ranges from 14.1-15.2 hands. Morgans, both pure and part bred, compete in a range of disciplines including combined driving, showing, dressage, endurance, eventing, games and show jumping, as well as being handy Pony Club and ARC mounts.
