Top quality GRP x (Cheval Deluxe) mare 14.0 & 3/4hh Dob 25/10/2010. Friendly talented and super trainable with solid dressage education. Competitive at Novice ready to compete Elementary and is working towards some half pass. Her rideability and foundation allow her to easily work through the grades. Purchased for my soft, nervous and at the time only just 12yo (now 14) and is solely cared for by her. She gives a very comfortable ride in all paces, and genuinely loves her work. Easily brought back in after time off. I have never lunged her. She has a quiet, laid-back attitude and happily ties to the float all day. She is not a hormonal mare and greets new horses curiously and happily. We have taken her to dressage days, interschool events, pony club with some xc and showjumping training. While her career to date has been Dressage and Show horse focused, she approached this new craft with bravery and shows a good natural technique. She tackled ditches and water, steps etc at first attempt. While she is still very green with her xc and showjumping, there is definite potential here to be very competitive. She has had 2 x open EVA65 evening starts with us, placing 3rd earlier last year at both Wingham and Sydney. Expertly and kindly ridden by a young professional, during her xc training to ensure she had the nicest possible experience, as my daughter had never evented before. She is best suited to a rider who themselves is riding at Novice level dressage or above as she thrives on variation in her flatwork tasks. I can’t thank this mare enough for the skills my daughter has gained through our time with her. Now sadly outgrown and we have moved on to our next mount. Despite Berry being currently out of work I am offering her for sale as is, so her next partner may have as much time as possible to prepare and obtain qualifications for interschools next year, should this be the right fit.
