Packard Lodge Nobleman- Paddy is a coloured (skebald) ASH gelding C1-261728, DOB 28.9.21 gelding. Paddy was broken in here with us and has the most impeccable manners, both under saddle and on the ground. I cannot say anything negative about this horse because he is just such an amazing boy in everyway. When we broke him in it was like he had been here before in a previous life. He is always wanting to please, which makes him very trainable. He is the kindest, most loveable horse and has his entire life in front of him to please some lucky rider. He will suit many applications and disciplines due to his soft easy way of going and his start to life with no baggage. We have had many horses by Paddy’s sire, Timberlea Dark Knight and their temperaments have all been exceptional. He is happy to go out trail riding on a lose rein, with other horses or by himself. He has been swimming in the lake and took to that like a duck to water. He has done stockwork around the farm too. We have competed Paddy at stockhorse shows and he has never put a foot out of place. He loves all the attention he can get, he is very calm in new environments. The first time we took him to a show we had a flat tyre on a main country highway and he was in the back bay. We put the back door down, trucks and traffic where going past and he never once showed any concern. He was as cool as a cucumber and I was so impressed with him then and he has never let us down in anyway. The last time we pulled him out of the paddock, we throw the saddle on and rode him 4km home. He never once called out or looked back at his mates. He has no vices at all on the ground or under saddle and I don’t ever remember him having a hissy about anything. When he was a 2yo we also used him as our nanny for our weanlings, he is friendly in the paddock but bossy enough for that job. It just about breaks me to have to sell Paddy, but I have a very big vet bill after my mare spent 6 weeks at the vet clinic. Paddy will only be sold to the best of homes. He is 100% sound, dentist, farrier, drench and chiro all up to date. This is an exceptional youngster and we are very proud of the horse he has become. Asking $18000 ONO
