Career Highlights
Fibbi is a purebred Stock Horse by Waymere Oaks Real Deal out of Sunnyvale Sapphire (HSH). He is a stock horse through and through - willing, tough, loyal and intelligent.
Fibbi has had an amazing life so far, bred by his current owners. He has been correctly started and has been very successful in a range of disciplines. Fibbi has more years left to teach and inspire another rider.
Education, skills and experience: Fibbi is a ‘ribbon machine’ winning or placing wherever he goes. He has been there, done that and won the rug. He has loads of experience in dressage and showing - including winning Supreme ASH at Cobargo Show and winning at the Nuwalla Dressage Championships. Fibbi has also attended cattle clinics and working equitation clinics.
Fibbi’s rider competes him in preliminary dressage, training novice, with established laterals. He is light in the bridle, automatically ‘collects’ and has scored over 70%!
Fibbi is super safe to ride out, down roads and across open paddocks. He is ridden with others, on his own and loves mustering. Fibbi loves a variety of work, happily trots over poles and indicates that he would quite like a bit of jumping! He is, at all times, tolerant, kind and honest.
General demeanor under saddle: Fibbi is willing and responsive under saddle. He has a snaffle mouth and is light in the bridle. Fibbi is balanced, reliable and fun to ride. He is tolerant and respectful. Fibbi can be ridden and competed anywhere without issues. He is used to agricultural shows, busy environments and is unphased by farm life, trucks and tractors.
Current workload/ fitness: Fibbi is currently in work.
Handling: Fibbi is safe and easy to handle in all ways - to catch, shoe, wash, saddle and load, travel and unload in an angle load float.
Behaviour: Fibbi is affectionate and is an absolute pleasure to have around. He does not have any quirks or vices under saddle. Fibbi does best when ridden 4 plus times a week but is safe when ridden less and after a spell. If overfed and underworked he can be looky but doesn’t spook, shy or jump sideways.
Feeding and management: Fibbi lives in a grassy paddock. He is supplemented with hard feed and hay. Fibbi’s behaviour is not affected by feed but, like so many good doers, he can get fat easily and needs to have grazing restricted if it is lush.
Medical history: Fibbi does not have any medical issues.
