Frizzle (Yinbarun Quizzy) is a lovely, freindly, 9yo, DOB 3/12/10 bay 15.2hh, registered ASH gelding 196785, bred by Peter and Cheryl Squires, out of one their best mares. Frizzle has been used for lots of things over the years and most of all he is a super little cow horse. Good tidy turns and stops. Competeted at team penning days and was very handy in the yards. This boy has three lovely paces a good walk, beautiful cadence in the trot and a very comfy canter. For the past few years he has been used as a farm horse, so has done lots of stock work and trail riding around the place. Just recently came back from riding the high country, which was cut short due to the fires. He has been pulled out of the paddock from time to time and has never missed a beat, no matter what has been asked of him and no matter the length of the spell. Previous owners used him to lead young horses around and to help with getting young Thouroghbred horses onto the track for work. Due to my brother taking on 4 foster children, he has no time for horses at the moment and has asked us to sell this little horse for him. (yes the 2nd instalment and both horses are very similar). We have found him to be very happy to do most things, even new things that are unfamiliar, he has a great work ethic, which makes things very easy. We have done a little jumping with him over the past few weeks and I am guessing he has not done a lot of jumping, but he is very willing and quite brave. Never ducked out or stopped at anything that he was pointed at. With a little more exposure, I think this little horse would make a good eventer. He is great out in the paddock, easy to catch and good with other horses. He too has been used at PC camps as a demonstrator’s horse, team penning days and also attended bush gymkhanas. He takes everything in his stride and has never been difficult in any way. No vice under saddle or on the ground, which we can all agree on. Easy to float both on the truck and the straight load float, self loads every time, never rushes out or worries and is a very good traveller. Fine to ride bareback, walk, trot and canter not a problem. Seems like a very calm and relaxed horse, even when strange things happen, like the dogs running into his back legs, whilst they are playing!!! We think he would suit many people, a young teen wanting a good honest competition allrounder, PC mount or a nice horse for someone to take to ARC and just have a bit of fun on. He would also suit a person wanting a competitive cow horse/ASH, (he just loves cahasing cows) also great around the farm/property. He is a very good doer always looks good, no matter how bad the feed is on the ground. Good in paddocks happy by himself or with company and never walks fences. Great little black hooves , which need vey little maintanice, even with things so dry he has great hoof health. No issues with dogs, farm machinery, kangaroos or even kicking the football over his head. Has had tarps all over him and dragged off him, whips no problem and great over all obstacles. Rode him when a storm came over this morning with thunder and rain and he just kept going on with his work like it was any other day. Currently in full time work, vet check welcome, 100% sound priced to sell. Teeth , chiro, farrier and drenching all up to date. A really nice package and a bargain at $6000 ONO. Must sell, so any reasonaable offer will be considered. Footage shows an array of flat work, over obstacles, up the dam bank/out on a ride, jumping whilst being ridden in the storm.
