Chiltern Bree-

Bree is a super quiet bay, easy going, big solid 15.2hh, rising 6yo (DOB 14.12.14) Irish Sport horse mare. This mare has the kindest eye and the sweetest nature and is a pleasure to do anything with. She is a big strong mare that could carry anyone or anything. She was broken in as a 3yo after being purchased from SA by her current owners. She broke in without any drama, everything was just so easy. Ridden by teenage riders and Mum around the farm for the past few years. Unfortunately, Bree has been a surplus mount in the paddock due to my daughter being away at boarding school. We just don’t seem to have the time to spend with all our youngsters, so we have decided to downsize the herd. To be fair to our boys and girls, we are hoping that our surplus, wasted stock, will find loving new homes where they will be appreciated for what they have to offer. I can drive out to the paddock to the herd in a 500 acre paddock, open the tail gate and load Bree into the float on my own, no matter how long it has been since anything has been done with her. Now my little float is just big enough for her to squeeze into, but she never falters. Just straight in every time. We can pull her out of the paddock bring her up to the house and ride her whenever we like, knowing that she is safe. From time to time we have loaded a few of the horse up onto the float and taken them for a swim in the Lake 20 min away. Bree has been in several times and loves the water, no worries with speed boats or the similar zooming past. Bree has just been brought into fulltime work by friends and after 6 months of not being ridden, she was saddled up, hacked on the flat- walk, trot and canter and not given one iota of a problem. Happy to walk over plastic, carry the umbrella, lead her off the gaiter, dogs can run around her, hang off her tail, she really won’t care about too much at all.   We feel that Bree would suit a family where mum or Nana want to go out riding with the kids/grandkids, and would like to feel confident and safe. OR mum wanting to get some confidence back after years off, however she does take a bit to get into canter if she is not fit/in work. We do feel that Bree would benefit greatly from continued education, as she only has had basic riding until now. Going super after 4 weeks continuous work. Jumping over small jumps confidently, but we feel that she is not really talented in this discipline. More whoa than go,  still happy to poke around all day if you want, will go at the riders’ level, as seen in the footage. Has been attending PC recently, just to get her out and about. Chiro, drenching, dentist, farrier all up to date. Currently being rugged and stabled and is looking the best she has ever looked in her life. She has had an injury a few years ago and now has a scar on her back leg, but has never impeded her in any way, it was a large flap of skin that was damaged. (vet reference is available). This mare will make someone very happy and these horses are very hard to find. Will not be sold sight unseen, as we would hate her to go to the wrong home, 100 % sound, vet check welcome. If not sold in the next few weeks, she will be stabled at Jerilderie with my son, so that her sale preparation can be completed. This will give Bree a 6-week session. Priced to sell. Asking $6500 ONO
