Has competed up to CCN1* in NZ, and EvA95 in AUS.

Alvin is an extremely sweet guy with top quality paces & an enjoyable jump.

Has scored up to 73%, can comfortably sit top ten after an average dressage test.

His only faults in the jumping phases have been that of his riders (I am not very brave!)

Extremely soft mouth and easy correct frame with minimal reminders needed. Knows his leg yields, laterals, walk priouettes & has a wicked extended canter. Auto-changes in the canter when jumping.

Has schooled up to 2-3* XC with plenty of room to go higher. Has trained up to 125cm at home.

Very much a snaffle mouth horse and will reward a kind rider.

Alvin has some quirks as many performance horses do, so needs an experienced rider with a soft hand. He can be horse-shy in smaller warm up arenas.

Exactly the same at events as he is at home. Thrives on consistency and loves his outings (and his Smoochies!)

Would be an extremely competitive top-ten horse with the right rider.

For sale as I am no longer pursuing high-level eventing & he is going to waste in the paddock. If I’m honest, I haven’t wanted to for a long time & so his talent has been wasted on me. I do not doubt that he’ll climb up the levels with the right rider.

He is 100% sound and I have years of vet records that can be provided to interested parties. He has had x-rays, ultrasounds & a full body bone scan in the past and I have these records ready to provide potential buyers.
