Barney – a 12 year-old, 16.1hh Thoroughbred gelding and the ultimate schoolmaster. Barney is a reliable showjumper and consistently tries his best, making him the perfect first horse or a confidence booster for any rider. He’s currently training 1m at home and competing at 85cm and will never stop at a jump, giving his rider trust and assurance every time.

Used in a riding school, for clients of all level but his forte is Showjumping and has a lovely temperament and is safe, sensible, and well-mannered both on the ground and under saddle. Barney is easy to do anything with – catch, float, shoe, tack up – and is a genuine pleasure to have around. Whether you’re looking to step up or need a trustworthy mount to enjoy.
