Versatile young horse by Blackall Park Twist

Shamrock Park Twist or ‘Goldie’ as he is known at home, is a rising 5-year-old chestnut warmblood/thoroughbred gelding (DOB: 20/12/2020). Goldie is out of Blackall Park Twist, who successfully jumped up to Mini Prix level in showjumping.

Goldie is currently in full-time training and is progressing nicely on the flat and jumping. He has smooth paces and a positive attitude to jumping where he shows much promise. Goldie can be ‘cold backed’ with the saddle after having time off and requires a lunge before getting on. After lunging he has been great to ride and shown no signs of a tight back. He is ridden in a normal snaffle and has a nice steady contact.

Goldie travels well and is easy to load on the float, he is happy to travel either on his own or with company. He is easy to handle and is content being on his own or with friends in the tie ups. He is never a hassle for the farrier, is well-shod and currently has front shoes. He is up to date with his dentals and vaccinations.

With a lovely, inquisitive nature, he’s a horse who eagerly comes up to the gate to be caught for riding and thoroughly enjoys human company as well as being friendly with other horses. Goldie will suit a capable and confident rider due to his age.

The owners have known this horse since he was a foal. Sadly his rider is unable to have two horses in full work. He will only be sold to a 5* home, and no time wasters please.
