🦄 Monty 🦄 16.3/17hh (he has a high wither), 10 year old OTT gelding Monty is a brave and careful jumper who had been eventing at 80 with me but has scope to go higher. He absolutely loves to jump and he will thrive in an eventing home (XC is his favourite).

Monty has a solid dressage foundation and snaffle mouth, and is easy and quiet enough for an amateur or young rider with class and scope to move up the grades. He is a gentle giant and will plod along at competitions on a loose rein to the ring and warm up calmly. His temperament is outstanding and he is eager to please.

He is easy to load, float/truck and shoe and quietly stands for the vet. He is smoochy and loves people and will walk right up to you in the paddock. He hacks alone and in company. He has been on spell for 3 months and has spent the last 4 weeks coming back into work with Sam Lyle where he is now available from. He was at Sydney Showjumping Club last weekend and took it all in his stride, despite not being out for over a year.

He does have parrot mouth which does not effect him in any way, his condition is great, though he needs a dentist with power tools twice a year to ensure his teeth are in good shape. Vet checks 100% welcome.

I have made the heartbreaking decision to sell Monty due to having to focus on my legal career and not having the capacity to give him the time he deserves. Price negotiable to the right home, absolutely no time wasters please, this is a very difficult decision for a much loved horse.
