Luna is a 10 year old flashy mare with lots of bling and is always a standout .
She has been with her current rider for 4 years taking her from a novice to a confident competitive intermediate young rider now 15 .
Luna was professionally started and has a very solid education behind her .
She has 3 lovely paces and a big cool canter .
Luna would best be described as a “Ultimate all rounder”.
Luna is a super adaptable mare that is very well exposed and has done it all !
⭐️Pony club ⭐️jump club ⭐️showjumping competitions ⭐️dressage comps ⭐️combined training ⭐️cross country ⭐️mustering ⭐️camps ⭐️trails ⭐️beach rides ⭐️cow work ⭐️an abundance of Clinics and training .
She has been competing in showjumping and attending pony club the last 3 years acquiring many successes and ribbons along the journey taking home many age champion and reserve champion placings .
⭐️2024 NSW state championships saw them take out Champion 15-17yr C grade equitation
⭐️2024 saw them take out Club champion sporting team and reserve champion hacking team .
⭐️2023 NSW State equitation and SJ saw them take home a 5th , 6th and 7th and 6th overall .
⭐️2023 NSW State Combined training taking home 4th place over all .
⭐️2024 Stonewall showjumping competition 6th in the 70cm class
She is well traveled and has spent countless nights away from home at competitions and it does not faze her the slightest .
She attends lessons every week/ fortnightly with her rider in showjumping and flatwork / dressage with professional Coaching .
Luna jumps a 80- 90cm course competitively with plenty of scope and has the ability to go higher .
Luna has done extensive trail riding on roads with traffic and has had plenty of exposure to tractors , dogs , motor bikes and is regularly ponied off the Side by side .
Luna has been to the beach and lake and loves to swim in the dam .
Luna loads and travels perfectly. Happy in a stable/yard or tied to the float out competing and you can take her with or without friends with no change. Luna is very easy to handle with exceptional ground manners and stands for the farrier.
She has no real standout vices a few funny no dirt quirks happy to discuss , she’s generally easy and fun but she is a mare .
She is great padlocked alone or with friends and is easy to catch.
Luna rides in a snaffle and has a very soft mouth ,to get the best out of her she likes a rider that has a balanced seat , soft hands and understands leg aids , she likes a quiet soft rider and does love her job and is responsive to her aids.
We would love to see her go to a home with a knowledgeable experienced rider looking for Their second horse or next competition mount to get the best out of her and continue on her with her competitive life .
Luna has so much to offer !
She is a very loved member of the family and life is always full of laughter with Luna and she will only be sold to a knowledgeable five home .
This is an extremely hard and emotional sale of young teens heart horse that she has had a blast on the last 4 years but it is time to move on for our Luna due to her rider stepping up onto a bigger showjumping horse as this is her preferred discipline, she deserves the very best of homes.
